Imagine Ltd – The Developers.
Formed in March 2000, Imagine Ltd. is a company incorporated in St. Lucia and exclusively owned by Mark Waters (66.6%) and Brendan McShane (33.3%), both are UK and St Lucian citizens. Mark Waters is Managing Director/ Chairman and principal of the company. Brendan McShane acts as a non-executive director.
During his business career Mark has been involved in the start up and success of four companies. From 1978 – 1999 the majority of his business involvement was as a founding partner and director of The Imagination Group.
Imagination was formed in 1978 with 4 directors and 8 employees and a first year turnover of £750,000. In 1999 when he sold his stake in the company it employed 300 people and had a turnover of £90M. Imagination is one of the world’s largest and most highly regarded design consultancies.
It has pioneered Brand Experience as a new and powerful approach for connecting brands with consumers, corporations and communities. It is a unique multidisciplinary design consultancy based in London with offices around the world.
Mark as Group Board director had responsibility for the following departments Production and Project Management, Warehousing, Sound Studios, Logistics, Visual Communications, Sound Design, Lighting Design, R & D. These departments were responsible for the 2 & 3D output of all creativity including architecture, retail interiors, museums, world expos, cruise ship interiors and other projects around the world.
Brendan McShane has lived and worked in St Lucia since 1975. During that time he has built a successful network of wholesale and retail businesses servicing both domestic and tourist markets. Specializing in fashion gifts and furniture. Trading as Sea Island Cotton Shops, Sea Island Homes and Gardens and Caribelle Batik he is well known in the business community. In addition to these businesses he also owns and runs two local restaurants.
Imagine Developers Ltd – The Construction Company.
Imagine Developers Ltd was formed to design and construct the homes at Mount du Cap. Its 2 directors are Mark Waters and Brendan McShane. (See above)
The company has secured the services of the relevant consultants to ensure that the quality and structural integrity of the designs matches local conditions and regulatory requirements. The consultants are made up of senior professionals with many years experience in both Barbados and St Lucia.
Imagine Developers are also delighted to have secured the services of James Kyle for the key role of Project Manager.
Not only does James have over 18 years experience in the building industry in the UK but also 5 years running his own construction company in St Lucia. During those 5 years James specialized in building individual homes for local and overseas clients. His passion for quality and attention to detail complements perfectly Marks working experience where his companies success and reputation were built on those guiding principals.
Mark and James have put together a team of their own craftsman and tradesmen both local and overseas, together with a roster of approved and experienced sub-contractors to enable them to deliver the homes at Mount du Cap and create St Lucia’s premier development.
Morrison Architects are established in Barbados and have been in existence since 1979. Ian Morrison studied architecture in England and in Venezuela, before joining Robertson Ward Architects in Barbados to work on the construction of the world famous Sandy Lane Hotel in 1960.
They have been involved in the building of numerous luxurious and exclusive projects across the Caribbean in Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, Grenada, Venezuela, Turks and Caicos and St Thomas.
Hotels – these have included the Colony Club, Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach, Almond Beach Village and Club, Glitter Bay and Royal Pavilion.
Resort Houses – Royal West Moreland Estate, Barbados including the Golf Club House, Spa and Gym, Club villas and Site Master Planning.
Port St Charles Marina, Barbados - 152 Townhouses and apartments that make up the development there.
